Hello and welcome to our official website! We're JHU Sharing Languages, a student-led volunteer organization at Johns Hopkins University that provides free foreign language education to elementary school students. Throughout the year, we teach weekly afterschool language classes to students in grades 3-5 in the Baltimore area. It is our mission to introduce students to not only new languages, but also new cultures.
We wanted to create this website as a medium to connect with you. Whether you're interested in volunteering, a parent of a child eager to learn a new language, or a community partner hoping to bring language education to your school/center, we hope you take a look and browse around. Here, you can expect to see stories about JHU Sharing Languages and our curriculum, fun worksheets to do at home (especially during this social distancing time), volunteer spotlights, and more. You can always reach out to us by clicking on the "Contact" section with any ideas, suggestions, or requests to enroll in our program for the coming school year (2021-2022).
Thank you for taking the time to check out our new website, and please feel free to pass along our info to anyone you know. We hope you stay tuned!
